Congratulations to Valerie Lawson at Resolute Bear Press! RBS’s 3 Nations Anthology: Native, Canadian, and New England Writers won the 2018 Maine Book Award for anthologies. Awards were presented on June 14th, at the SPACE Gallery, in Portland, ME.

The 3 Nations Anthology includes poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction by writers from the Wabanaki Tribes, New England, and the Canadian Maritimes. The Winter 2017 issue of the Georgia Review has a wonderful book review of the anthology, and a shorter one can be found here. Individual pieces from the anthology are being featured locally and nationally; I’m delighted to share space in this volume with fellow friends and writers Cheryl Savageau, Karen Skolfield, Michele Leavitt, Carl Little, David Surrette, Ellie O’Leary, Dennis Camire, and Paul Hostovsky, along with many others I admire and look forward to meeting!
